I would argue that Britain is making a slight comeback!! I mean, it is still able to launch military interventions around the world (witness Iraq) but a permanent veto is kind of archaic. I admit however that it is still useful to have the USA, Russia, and China as vetoes because it forces these widely disparate cultures to deal with each other. But Britain and France are redundant and do not reflect the current power structures of the world.

If the person posting this message left their e-mail address, we inserted some random characters to prevent spammers from harvesting their address.
